There will be no formal 'Safety Inspection' in this edition of the D2D Race. It is the individual responsibility for each skipper.

We expect competitors to race responsibly and make appropriate provision for the safety of crews and boats, and maintain equipment carefully.

Competitors should be familiar with and abide by the rules set out in our Notice of Race.

The Dun Laoghaire to Dingle Race is subject to 'ISAF Category 3 with Liferaft' compliance. The "D2D Safety Checklist - Self Declaration" document must be studied, complied with in full and returned completed and signed to the Race Office (see opening hours details in the document) PRIOR to the yacht being allowed to take part in the Dun Laoghaire to Dingle Race.

 

Additionally competitors should have full regard of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea.
